About the Role
We're seeking a talented Backend Developer to design, implement, and maintain server-side applications. You'll be responsible for building scalable APIs, integrating with databases, and ensuring the overall performance and security of our systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs
- Optimize database queries and ensure data integrity
- Implement authentication, authorization, and security measures
- Integrate with third-party services and APIs
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Document APIs and technical specifications
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in backend development
- Proficiency in Node.js, Python, or Java
- Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Strong knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL)
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Understanding of security best practices
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
